BARCELONA, Spain – Daniil Kvyat is behind the wheel of the RB11 in Barcelona today and tomorrow, with Daniel Ricciardo taking over for day three and four.
The first of four testing days ended at 6 p.m. local time in Barcelona. Following an overcast start in the morning, afternoon ambient temperature was up to 16°C, asphalt to 18°C.
The track was dry in the morning and from early afternoon, after light rain around lunchtime.
In the early afternoon, a red flag stopped running briefly, as a result of the Toro Rosso of Carlos Sainz Jr stopping on the track. The best times today and their tire choices:
