MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – The INFINITI QX60 becomes even more appealing for the 2025 model year with an unmistakably striking Black Edition trim and a more fuel-efficient powertrain with a higher torque output for smooth, confident driving performance.

Intended to accentuate the handsome, sculpted look of QX60 LUXE, the new Black Edition trim features gloss black 20-inch wheels, along with gloss black roof rails, grille surround and exterior emblems. An illuminated INFINITI emblem in the front grille complements illuminated kickplates and Welcome Lighting that help QX60 shine at night. A black headliner completes the Black Edition treatment on the inside of the cabin; on the outside, clients select from Mineral Black, Majestic White or new-for-2025 Harbor Gray paint.

Bolstering the model's impressive offering of premium features, all grades of the 2025 INFINITI QX60 now feature a new key fob design with approach unlock and walkaway locking functionality. When enabled, this feature automatically locks or unlocks the vehicle, as appropriate, by detecting when someone with the key fob walks up to or away from the QX60.

Beautifully functional for life

The 2025 INFINITI QX60 effortlessly caters to families with three rows of seating, detailed craftsmanship and intuitive technology. It comfortably seats up to seven passengers (six in AUTOGRAPH with second-row captain's chairs) and generously holds up to 2,135 litres of cargo1 when the second and third rows are lowered. The front seats feature INFINITI "Zero Gravity" technology that can help reduce fatigue in long drives. The second-row seats conveniently tilt and slide to allow access to the third row, even with a child safety seat installed2.

Keeping everyone on board entertained and connected, QX60 boasts standard INFINITI InTouch™3 featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Android Auto™, wireless Apple CarPlay®4, SiriusXM® Radio and nine speakers. Black Edition grades and higher upgrade to a Bose® Performance series 17-speaker sound system for more lifelike, immersive sound.

QX60 includes a standard wireless phone charger on all grades, plus five standard USB ports to keep everyone's devices charged (two front, two for the second row and one for the third row); SENSORY and AUTOGRAPH grades add another third-row USB port for a total of six.

Peace of mind is standard for all onboard, with every QX60 featuring Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection5, Predictive Forward Collision Warning6, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert7, Rear Automatic Braking8, Blind Spot Warning9, Lane Departure Warning10 and High Beam Assist.

Available technologies help make driving simpler, including Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection11, a Smart Rear View Mirror12 that provides a less-obstructed view behind the vehicle13, Driver Attention Alert14 and Traffic Sign Recognition15. Finally, available ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link supports the driver during single-lane highway driving for a less fatiguing driving experience16.

Advanced, efficient powertrain

For the 2025 model year, QX60 employs an advanced Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) engine, which is also featured in QX50 and QX55. The world's first mass-produced variable-compression engine, the turbocharged 2.0-liter seamlessly varies its compression ratio depending on the driving situation, accelerator input and other factors. With the ability to range from a compression ratio of 8:1 to 14:1, the engine offers drivers a rewarding blend of responsive performance and impressive efficiency.

The innovative engine is rated for 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 16 lb-ft over the 2024 model, coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission with standard paddle shifters that contribute to confident responsiveness in daily driving.

The powertrain features a standard transmission oil cooler, while SENSORY and AUTOGRAPH grade’s are additionally equipped with a trailer hitch receiver and harness, allowing for an increase in towing rating to 6,000 pounds17.
