MISSISSAUGA, ONT. – INFINITI today reported 2017 sales totalling 12,433, an increase of 2.8 per cent over last year, its best year ever in Canada. This marks six years of consecutive annual sales growth for the INFINITI brand in Canada. INFINITI reported December sales of 731 vehicles in Canada, a decrease of 27.6 per cent versus the prior year.
The QX80 full-size performance luxury SUV set a new December sales record, selling 125 vehicles for an increase of 52.4 per cent compared to the previous year.
The popularity of INFINITI's luxury crossover and SUV line-up resulted in annual sales records for the top-seller, the QX60, with 4,627 units sold, an increase of 9.2 per cent. Sales of the QX30 premium active crossover saw triple-digit growth with 997 vehicles delivered in 2017.
With 1,118 vehicles delivered in 2017, the Q60 sports coupe had an increase of 175.4 per cent.
