Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) today released May sales of 6,721 units – a decrease of 18.4 per cent over May 2010. Nissan sales accounted for 6,251 units, down 16.5 per cent over the same month last year, while INFINITI sold 470 units, a decrease of 36.9 per cent.
The Nissan Titan and Armada had best ever monthly sales in May with 207 and 50 units, respectively, up 80 and 100 per cent over May 2010 and continuing strong sales of Nissan SUVs and trucks which are up 19.1 from May 2010.
The Nissan Versa is the strongest seller in the Nissan line-up with 1,480 units sold, followed closely by the Sentra and Rogue with 1,139 and 1,127, respectively.
On the INFINITI side, the G line-up continues to drive sales with 270 vehicles sold last month. Fully redesigned for 2011 sales of the INFINITI QX56 were up 38.5 per cent over 2010.

- Year-to-date sales of the INFINITI QX56 are up 228.8 per cent over the same period in 2010.
