Mississauga, ON - Today, INFINITI Canada announced an agreement that will provide CTV’s etalk with additional fleet support for its extensive coverage of the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), running September 9-20, 2010. In total, five all-new 2011 QX56s will be used to carry etalk staff and equipment throughout the city as they bring daily coverage of the famous festival to Canadian viewers.

“We’re proud to support etalk as they provide their viewers with an inside look at the film festival that means so much to Canadians and the city of Toronto,” said Wendy Durward, Director, INFINITI Canada. “The new QX56 embodies many of the characteristics that TIFF encourages – inspired performance, unique style and expression, advanced technology and an un-matched feeling of relaxed luxury.”

“We are excited to have a full fleet of stylish, INFINITI vehicles to take our team around the city during TIFF,” said Morley Nirenberg, Director of Production/Executive Producer, etalk. “Wherever you find celebrities during the Festival, etalk is there. And now we have the transportation support to be everywhere we need to be to deliver breaking entertainment news to our viewers.

With a luxurious cabin that feels more like a 5-star hotel and ample space for up to eight passengers and their equipment, the QX56 is the perfect vehicle to get the etalk team to their destinations on time, relaxed and in style. The QX56 also has an abundance of advanced technology that makes driving and parking in heavy traffic much easier, including an Around View MonitorTM, Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and much more.

“The 2011 QX56 will fit right in during the film festival,” said Durward. “It has been designed to be the most inspiring SUV in the market, with the power and capabilities you need and the luxury and technology you’ve come to expect from INFINITI.”

This is the second year that Nissan Canada Inc. has provided etalk with fleet support for their TIFF efforts with the Nissan cube assisting their teams in 2009.

Auto enthusiasts and fans can see the 2011 INFINITI QX56 at all the hottest events and premieres throughout the city, or by tuning in to etalk, which is hosted by Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim and airs every weeknight at 7:00 p.m. EST on CTV.
