MONTREAL (June 6, 2013) – The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is located on Montreal’s Île Notre-Dame, a man-made island in the middle of the St Lawrence River, and has played host to the Canadian Grand Prix since 1978. A semi-permanent track, the circuit is opened up to road traffic during the summer months and is renowned for attracting cyclists, in-line skaters and walkers.
