MISSISSAUGA, ON. - Today, INFINITI announced Stephen Lester will assume the role of managing director, INFINITI Canada, effective April 1st. Reporting to Christian Meunier, president, Nissan Canada Inc. and Randy Parker, vice president, INFINITI Americas, this addition to the leadership team reflects the brand's determination to build on recent success in the Canadian premium automotive market - where INFINITI recorded its best-ever year, exceeding sales of 10,000 units for the first time.
"Adding strong and experienced Canadian leaders to our management teams will be critical to our success as we continue to implement our growth plan for INFINITI in Canada," said Christian Meunier, president, Nissan Canada Inc. "Stephen has shown great leadership and strategic thinking since joining our team as national general manager and we are excited to have him lead the INFINITI brand into the future."
Lester is a high-calibre automotive professional with more than 12 years of experience. Most recently, Lester was national general manager, INFINITI Canada, where he was responsible for sales and service operations, retailer performance and generating business development.
Previous to his INFINITI experience, Lester held management positions with BMW Group in regional development and brand marketing in both Canada and Germany. Lester is comfortable speaking and writing in German and holds a Sports Management degree from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.
