2025 INFINITI QX55 packs luxurious interior, capable tech inside captivating shape
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – The 2025 INFINITI QX55 continues to showcase the daring spirit of INFINITI with standout design, elevated interior quality and appealing technologies to keep drivers connected, entertained and informed.
Striking profile, sumptuous interior
QX55 makes an immediate impression with a roofline that gently arcs toward the tail, channeling the challenger spirit and iconic proportions of the trend-setting INFINITI FX. With 20-inch wheels at each corner, a minimalist rear end and a wide stance on the road, QX55 has undeniable presence. Clients can select from six vibrant exterior colour choices: Hermosa Blue, Graphite Shadow, Slate Gray, Black Obsidian, Dynamic Sunstone Red and Radiant White.
Moving inside, QX55 greets the driver with a low dashboard that wraps around the cabin to give a commanding view outward. A standard power moonroof admits ample light, while acoustically laminated front windows help reduce unwanted noise. Throughout the interior, INFINITI's exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail are on display, with available open pore wood trim (SENSORY grade only), available LED ambient lighting and "Zero Gravity" front seats that can help reduce fatigue on longer journeys.
QX55 backs up its beautiful appearance with effortless functionality. The ample cargo area – 761L1 – can expand to an impressive 1,531 liters when the 60/40 split-folding rear seats are lowered, and the second-row seats slide and recline2 so occupants can prioritize legroom or luggage space as needed. ESSENTIAL and LUXE grades offer the convenience of a power liftgate, with the SENSORY grade adding a motion-activated function to ease loading or unloading.
Seamless technology and reassuring driver assistance
Technology is thoughtfully woven into the 2025 INFINITI QX55 experience, starting with the standard INFINITI InTouch infotainment system. It features an 8-inch upper and 7-inch lower screen, with Android Auto™ and wireless Apple CarPlay®3. Four USB ports (one Type-C, one Type-A for each row of seating) and a standard wireless charging pad help all occupants keep their devices charged.
ESSENTIAL and SENSORY grades augment this infotainment experience with built-in navigation and an immersive Bose® Performance Series Audio System with 16 speakers, which features the added delight of metallic speaker grilles on the tweeters in the door panels.
Additional peace of mind comes courtesy of a standard suite of safety technology on every QX55, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning4, Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection5, Blind Spot Warning and Intervention6, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention7, Rear Cross Traffic Alert8, Rear Automatic Braking9 and High Beam Assist.
Standard ProPILOT Assist10 helps ease the driver's workload in certain driving situations. The system can help keep the driver stay centered within their lane and assists with acceleration and braking for highway driving. QX55 ESSENTIAL and SENSORY add additional driver assistance with Traffic Sign Recognition and Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection11. SENSORY grade also adds a head-up display.
Advanced powertrain blends performance and efficiency
QX55 employs the world's first mass-produced Variable Compression Turbocharged (VC-Turbo) engine12 to deliver both performance and efficiency. The advanced 2.0-liter engine is rated for 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, while delivering EPA-estimated fuel economy figures of 10.5 km/litre city, 8.3 km/litre highway and 9.5 km/litre combined13. It meets these two seemingly conflicting goals by using a pivot point within the engine that alters the piston's travel range and thus changes the engine's compression ratio to constantly optimize fuel consumption and power delivery.
The VC-Turbo engine is paired with an XTRONIC transmission that features Downshift Rev Matching and standard paddle shifters to help deliver a more engaging driving experience. Plus, the INFINITI's Drive Mode Selector allows drivers to select between Standard, ECO, Sport and Personal powertrain modes to further tailor the vehicle's responses and performance.
Every QX55 features INFINITI Intelligent All-Wheel Drive14, constantly adjusting torque delivery to enhance confidence on varying road surfaces and conditions. When slippage is detected, the system can direct up to 50% of engine torque to the rear wheels.
