Today, INFINITI Canada accepted two 2011 ALG residual value awards winning its third consecutive Best Luxury Brand award, as well as receiving Best Luxury Fullsize Utility Vehicle for the 2011 INFINITI QX56.

“When we launched the fully-redesigned QX56 last year we knew we had raised the bar in full-size luxury driving and this award confirms we have a stand-out in the segment,” said Wendy Durward, Director, INFINITI Canada. “And INFINITI has now been awarded best luxury brand for three consecutive years confirming that our exceptional line-up provides not only exhilarating performance, but class-leading residual value.”

“INFINITI has a well-earned reputation for meeting high ideals in both performance and luxury, and delivering at a price lower than its European rivals,” said Raj Sundaram, Senior Vice President, Solutions Group and ALG. “This value strategy has allowed it to expand its presence in the Canadian luxury market, and earns it the top spot in the luxury brand category for the third year running.”

About the 2011 INFINITI QX56

The 2011 INFINITI QX56 was redesigned from the ground up and is another great example of inspired design, performance and craftsmanship. Its high-stiffness frame structure enhances ride comfort while reducing noise, vibration and harshness while its 5.6-litre V8 engine combines the responsive acceleration of INFINITI’s VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) technology with the efficiency of Direction Injection Gasoline (DIG) and 7-speed automatic transmission. With 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque the 2011 INFINITI QX56 can handle a wide range of tasks and delivers 10 per cent better fuel economy than the previous generation QX.

“The all-new 2011 QX56 is the best of both worlds, with a luxurious and spacious interior matched to a muscular V8 engine,” said Raj Sundaram, Senior Vice President, Solutions Group and ALG. “These features were major factors in propelling it to the top of the luxury fullsize utility category.”
