Just one day after announcing another record year for sales, Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) is pleased to accept ALG’s recognition of both its INFINITI and Nissan brands. The announcement came yesterday, as ALG named INFINITI as its first winner of the overall Luxury Brand Residual Value Award. According to ALG, INFINITI is recognized with the award because its vehicles’ residual values are “consistently strong, reflecting its aggressive pricing and superior quality.”

“This recognition is a testament to the quality and value of the entire INFINITI product lineup”, said Wendy Durward, Director, INFINITI Dealer Operations, INFINITI Canada. “Residual value is an important reflection of the strength of an automotive brand, and we’re thrilled to rank number one in the luxury category.”

Nissan Canada Inc. was also the recipient of four segment Residual Value Awards, the most of any manufacturer. ALG named the Maxima (Full Size Car), GT-R (Luxury Sports Car), Rogue (Compact Utility Vehicle) and Murano (Midsize Utility Vehicle) all winners in their segments.

“We’re very proud to be recognized in four different vehicle categories representing the diversity of our vehicle lineup,” said Jeff Parent, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, NCI. “After another record year of sales for Nissan Canada these awards demonstrate that not only do we provide exciting new products that Canadians want to buy, but they provide value over the long term.”

According to ALG, the First Canadian Residual Value Awards are based on 2009 model year vehicles and are derived after studying segment competition, historical vehicle performance and industry trends, and are based on analysis using Canada-specific data.
